I'm running for State Assembly because I want to make our government work for you.

I've been disappointed by the lack of responsible leadership in Madison. Together we can promote fairness, increase opportunity, and strengthen our communities.

I want to make sure that our state is meeting your needs.

As the President and CEO of Washington County's credit union, Glacier Hills, I grew our credit union by 285% and doubled our membership by helping our members meet their financial needs.  I understand the problems and challenges everyday people face, living paycheck to paycheck.

Currently I serve as the President of the Washington County Campus Foundation where we award more than $150,000 in scholarships every year to deserving students who are trying to better themselves before they enter the workforce.

Dennis's Priorities for Wisconsin

  1. Ensuring every Wisconsinite has the right to affordable healthcare

  2. Creating family sustaining jobs with increased wages and improved benefits

  3. Increasing public school funding because our children are our future, not a profit center

  4. Demonstrating real fiscal responsibility by investing in Wisconsin, not phony fiscal "conservatism"

  5. Repairing and maintaining infrastructure with current revenue, not increased debt and more delays

  6. Revising and repairing the doomed Foxconn deal before it gets worse for taxpayers

β€œIt is time for new leadership in Madison, someone who understands how our financial system works and the needs of working families. I have those skills and will work for good governing, not politics.”

I've dedicated my life to giving back to the country and community that helped me achieve my dreams.

I started serving others as a US Army, Vietnam Veteran and continue doing so as a community leader with non-profit organizations and  governmental agencies. I have been a proud big brother for 14 years with our local Big Brothers Big Sisters program. As a baseball historian, I also serve on the board of directors of the Washington County Historical Society. I am also a member of the City of West Bend Solid Waste and Recycling Committee and the West Bend Schools Citizens Facility Advisory Committee.  I was a member of the Noon Rotary and I've been involved with other non-profits include the Red Cross and Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County.
